Building bridges across genres, CONVOI GÉNÉRAL takes the songs of the General Bazaar to a new space and time altogether. Creating their own niche in the post-genre spectrum, the band pick up where Motown, psychedelic blues, Viking rowing music and synth pop should have merged, but for whatever reason, had to wait for this union of creativity.

 

One part Belgian, one part Canadian and one part British exile: Combining the strategic rhythm dynamics of Simon Vandueren on drums with the distinctive synth-bass and tonewheel Hammond transistor organ of Scott Hamilton, their voices set the scene for that dusty electric guitar vibe of the General Bazaar and his sweetly tart voice. With epic songs and moving dynamics, together, CONVOI GÉNÉRAL make a unique contribution to the evolution and spiritual journey of music in the west.
